His name is Lambert his parents are really really rich and he is really spoiled and hates Myrtle. Myrtle is having a very hard time with her child.

Then she drugs him and takes him to the island. When Coral hears this, she tells the principal that Fabio has a bad case of burry-burry fever (which she made up) and she tells Fabio that the school is in quarantine because of the sickness and he can’t come in. He says that the children there treat him very badly and bully him because he came from South Africa. He tells Coral that he hates his parents and they make him go to a boarding school called Greymarsh Towers which is where Coral is assigned to take him. Coral finds a boy named Henry-Hubert (isn’t that an ugly name?) who actually came from South Africa and his real name is Fabio.

Etta decide this is the right girl and gives her a sleeping drug and takes her to the island. Etta finds a girl named Minette who has two parents that hate each other, and she has to change clothes on the train ride from her mom’s to her dad’s (because her mother likes her to wear frilly, girly-girl pink-pony clothes, and her dad likes her to wear practical clothes). They each meet lots of new children and each decide who to take. They decide to go to the city and act as aunts that take children places that the parents are too busy to take the children to (like the zoo or the grandparents’ house or something like that). Besides, they have to keep the island a secret, so they figure out that the only way to do this is to kidnap some children. They resolve that the only way they can do this is to kidnap some children, as they can’t go up to the parents and say, ‘We’d like to take your children where all they do is work,’ which is basically what they do all the time. They know they are getting old, and they must get some children who are strong, small and healthy and who can take care of the island with them. The aunts there (Coral, Mertle, and Etta) are three women who take care of the island.

Island Of The Aunts, by Eva Ibbotson, is an amazing story about a magical island with selkies, mermaids, a stoorworm, a boobrie and lots of other magical creatures (I can’t list them all).
